I made an appointment to bring in my car on September 23 at 7:15 as the shifter was not going from Reverse to Drive - getting hung up in neutral. Other than that, it was functioning well. The car wasn't even looked at until Thursday, October 3, when they told me it needed new motor mounts for $2700. I was finally told it was ready on October 4. I picked it up, and on my way home it started making a loud squeal every time I let off the gas. The shifter still hanging up. I brought it back in October 5 first thing, and service advisor Sean heard the loud squeal. On October 7, I got a call from service advisor Ashley saying my car was ready. I asked her what had been wrong, and she said a loose grommet. Later that day, before I had picked up the car, she called back to let me know the shifter had been fixed but not the squeal. This is at least the second time I have had to bring my car back to Yates for a botched service. One time a tech left a tool in the engine which made a loud noise - I was afraid to drive over 25. I still do not have my car 16 days after dropping it off. The people at Yates have been friendly, but I am very disappointed with the quality of service and the time it has taken for the repair.
