From the moment I arrived for my service appointment I was treated very well from my service writer Ashley Salinas, to the lady who provides customer service were nice and friendly. Ms. Salinas knew exactly what service I needed for my vehicle and explained what each service would do to improve my vehicle’s performance and reliability. She also said see would call me sometime after 1:00PM when my vehicle would be ready for pick up. She called me at 2:00 PM to tell me my vehicle was ready for pick up. She also asked if I needed a ride to pick up my vehicle. I told her no and that I had a ride. Upon my arrival my vehicle was ready and washed. Out standing service all the way through. On my drive home I noticed how smooth the vehicle drove and rode.

The service that has been done has been good. What I am unhappy with is the fact that the Yates mechanics have not been proactive about diagnosing issues with my vehicle. I brought my truck in at the end of Jan 2024 because I was losing oil and I wasn’t sure where any of it was going as there wasn’t an obvious leak. When I brought my truck in for this issue it was deemed that the oil pressure sensor was bad (doesn’t fix the issue or even explain an oil leak) but whatever let’s change it I’ll trust the dealer. I also asked for a multi point inspection but was never approached with anything such as potential broken motor mounts, suspension or brake wear issues which all needed to be addressed when I brought my truck in do this service and makes it glaringly obvious to me that they did not really care about my vehicle when it was previously in. During this service I dropped my truck off at a time I was given that would be an available slot for my vehicle to be looked at. It ended up sitting for 3-4 days and then needed an inspector to come verify the work which took another 3 days. I was out of a vehicle for a week and a half. What really makes me mad the most about this situation is when the inspector finally came out he noted that my oil cooler and transmission cooler lines were both substantially leaking and needed to be replaced. This would explain my oil leak issue that I had previously brought my truck into be addressed but would have never been fixed if the inspector had never came to look at my vehicle. I no longer trust Yates to work on my vehicle and provide adequate service or advise on potential issues with my vehicle. I am aware things happen but I brought my truck in and was told nothing was wrong other than an oil pressure sensor to needing a whole slew of things replaced all within 3,000 miles of driving which is 1) unrealistic to have that happen in that amount of time and 2) evidence of those issues needed to be addressed were already present. I brought my truck in on January with the expectations that I would be needed a brake change and suspension work and was told nothing was wrong with me vehicle after I had requested a multi point inspection with my service to verify these things would need replacing. I continued to operate my vehicle under the false guidance that there was nothing wrong. I am not bothered by the amount of work needed done on my vehicle I am bothered by the fact that the things that needed to have been done should have been addressed sooner rather than later and a big issue wasn’t even going to be addressed at all.
